HOUSE BILL NO. 157 An Act relating to absences from the state                  
while serving on oceangoing vessels of the United States merchant              
marine for purposes of eligibility for permanent fund dividends; and           
providing for an effective date was read the second time.                      
                                                                               
Senator Mackie moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be              
advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without                 
objection, it was so ordered.
